Positive balance of foreign trade turnover increases by 22%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. State Statistical Committee says that the volume of trade operations with 94 countries reached $ 2,506.5 mln in January, 2012.

$252.3 mln of commodity exchange was realized with the CIS-member states, $2,254.2 mlnâ€“ with other countries.

In the reporting period, $1,848.8 mln-goods were exported and $ 657.7 mln â€“ imported to the country.

The export operations rose 17.5%, import increased by 11%, foreign trade turnover â€“ by 15.7% and positive balance â€“ by 21.6% compared to a year ago.

The positive balance of foreign trade made $1,191.1 mln.
