Bank Respublika increases interest profit

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Bank Respublikaâ€™s profit in 2011 made AZN 10.716 mln. Bankâ€™s loss in 2010 made AZN 2.211 mln.

Bank says total income declined 0.5% to AZN 36.984 mln, as well interest income dropped 5.7% to AZN 25.339 mln, non-interest income soared 13% to AZN 11.645 mln.

At the same time, total expenditures slipped 33% to AZN 26.268 mln, including interest expenditures slid 43% to AZN 9.106 mln, non-interest expenditures surged 17.4% to AZN 20.715 mln.

Interest profit rose 50% to AZN 16.233 mln, non-interest loss increased by 24% to AZN 9.070 mln.

Remind that, Bank Respublika has been in operation since 1992. The bank operates 33 branches, 47 ATMs and 296 POS-terminals across the country.
