Insurance payment to the families of deceased crew, crashed in Afghanistan, to be paid soon

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Insurance payment to the families of the deceased crew crashed in Afghanistan will be carried by Ateshgah Hayat SÄ±gorta soon. Crew members are insured for â€œCompulsory insurance against disability resulting from occupational diseases and industrial accidentsâ€.

The acting chairman of the board Akbar Madatli says Silk Way Airlines has already submitted all documents for the payment of insurance: â€œThe delay in the payment is connected with technical reasons. The amount of insurance will be publicized in coming daysâ€.

Remind that the crew members - citizens of Azerbaijan (5 persons) were insured on â€œCompulsory insurance against disability resulting from occupational diseases and industrial accidentsâ€ by Ateshgah Life Insurance. The members of the crew - the full composition (9 people) were also insured â€œVoluntary personal insurance accidentâ€ by Silk Way.

Note that, on 6 July at 00:10 (Baku time at 2:10), the connection with the Ä°L-76 aircraft owned by Azerbaijanâ€™s Silk Way, was terminated, and it disappeared from the radar. The reasons for the crash are still unknown. As a result of the crash all nine crew members died.
