Nominal income grows 19% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. During the period of January-August, 2011, the incomes of Azerbaijani population grew by 17% to AZN 2 107.4 bn at face value, State Statistical Committee told APA.

Per capita nominal income grew by 8.5% to during this period, and per capita monthly income reached AZN 263.4.

The populationâ€™s income after taxes, compulsory charges and voluntary membership dues amounted to AZN 19bn, up 18.5 % compared to the same period last year.
Of the incomes, people spent 66.1% on consumption expenses, 8% on taxes, social insurance and voluntary membership dues and 24.6% on increasing savings and capitals.
