Azerbaijan and Austria to sign new documents

According to him, the documents on cooperation in the field of innovative technologies and other areas will be signed during the visit of President of Austria scheduled for October in Azerbaijan. Abbasov noted that the two countries signed 28 documents, 6 intergovernmental agreements so far. He added that Azerbaijan and Austria were planning to expand the relationship.

The Austrian Embassy in Azerbaijan was informed that delegation including 70 people headed by the Deputy Chief Executive of Vienna Renate Brauner was on a visit to Azerbaijan. It was also noted that as a result of implementation of economic projects and political high-level visits in recent years, the relations between the two countries are developing dynamically. For strengthening of these relationships, Vienna organized “Vienna welcomes Baku” program in Baku on September 19-22, 2011.

The forum, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Austria-Azerbaijan jointly with Azpromo, Austrian specialists and company representatives will present their practical knowledge on the topic “Culture and tourism management”, “Transport Planning”, “E-government”, etc. Within the framework of the Vienna Economic Forum, the delegation will hold meetings with the Government of Azerbaijan (Ministry of Transport, Azpromo, “Temiz Shahar” and etc.), representatives of Baku executive power etc.
