Â«Mega SÄ±gortaÂ» company intents to activate activity

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s Mega Sigorta company is forecasted to collect nearly AZN 700,000 insurance premium, board chairman Afghan Murtuzayev told APA.

To him, only in Janury-June, 2011, the companyâ€™s revenues were above AZN 45,000, payments â€“ AZN 20,000: â€œOnly on one type of insurance â€“ â€œVehicle insuranceâ€, the company realized payment at amount of AZN 18,000â€.

Murtuzayev said according to new strategic plan prepared by the company, it is expected to collect each month insurance premiums at amount of AZN 100 thousand.
â€œMain collections will be from Vehicle insurance, Property insurance from fire and other risks. In general, formation of main part of insurance portfolio of the company on account of individual customers is one the major directions. We will work also with corporate clients, but preference will be given to individuals from standpoint of risksâ€™ distributionâ€.

Remind that, Mega Sigorta started to operate as Nakhchivan Sigorta since 1998. Its brand was changed as BE&G in 2001, and as Mega Sigorta in 2010. The company operates on 23 voluntary and 4 compulsory insurance types.
