Azerbaijani plane crashed in Afghanistan insured by Ipak Yolu company <font color=red>- EXCLUSIVE </font>

To him, the aircraft and the crew have been totally insured by Ipak Yolu company. Allocation of funds related to insurance payment for accident will be started after the final decision of the Commission created for investigation of accident’s reasons.

Imanov said that big part of general insurance risks has been directed to reinsurance. These services have been provided by British Lloyds Re reinsurance company.

Note that, on July 6, 2011, at about 00.10, while preparing to land in Bagram airport, the communication with IL-76 4K-AZ 55 belonging to Azerbaijan’s Silk Way aviation company suddenly broke off and its view disappeared in radars. According to statement made by Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Administration, the aircraft collided with unknown object in the air.
