Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. Population’s “we buy†transaction from banks made USD 1,828.8 mln, “we sell†transaction made USD 447 mln during January-April, 2011. According to Central Bank of Azerbaijan “we buy†transaction increased by 16.2%, “we sell†transaction decreased by 30.2% compared to a year ago.
According to Ekonomist magazine’s experts, extension of cash dollar market is normal, because the dollar mass increases in the country due to several factors and this causes increase of conversion operations. These factors include growth of additional dollar mass in the country as a result of rise of oil price and accessing of this funds’ main part to the market. Besides, increase of we sell transaction is related to population’s belief to national currency.
