Turanbank 43% increases assets year-on-year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of May 1, 2010, Azerbaijan-based Turanbankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 115.9 mln, up by 43% compared with a year ago.

Bank says, loan portfolio rose by 32.7% to AZN 83.7 mln. Revenue grew by 16.7% to AZN 4.7 mln, profit reached AZN 1.3 mln.

Besides, deposit portfolio 107.9% increased to AZN 42.3 mln, populationâ€™s deposit surged 93.5% to AZN 26.1 mln.

Total capital soared 5.8% to AZN 20.2 mln. Authorized capital reached AZN 18.5 mln, up by 8.8% compared with a year ago.

Owned by 5 juridical and 20 individual persons Turanbank has been in operation since 1992. The bank operates 11 branches and 20 offices across the country.
