AGBank sees 17% growth in assets year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2010, Azerbaijan-based AGBank’s assets stood at AZN 239,416 mln. up 16.9% compared with a year ago.

Bank says that, deposit portfolio rose by 13.4% to AZN 119.069 mln, population’s deposits grew by 23.2% to AZN 103.240 mln, loan portfolio 23.7% increased to AZN 191.885 mln, consumption loans soared 9% to AZN13.168mln, total capital 3.7% increased to AZN32.553 mln and authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 15 mln.

Revenues 2.2% increased to AZN 9.934 mln, expenditures grew by 39.6% to AZN 9.312 mln. Profit down by 3.1 times to AZN 622 000.

Staffs of bank grew by 13.5% to 479, average monthly salary rose by 31% to AZN 970.

AGBank has been in operations since 1992. The bank operates 16 branches, 55 ATMs and 365 POS-terminals across country.
