Azerbaijan Industry Insurance gets 6% rise in premiums

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan Industry Insurance earned AZN 984 713 in insurance premiums during January-April, up 6.3% on the same period last year.

The company said payment for insurance risks rose by 2.9 times to AZN 339 002.

Premiums came AZN 843 899 from voluntary insurance and AZN 140,815 from compulsory insurance types.

The premiums came AZN 501 617 from cargo insurance and AZN 136 156 from compulsory fire insurance.

Payments most went to voluntary insurance (AZN 338 02) and compulsory insurance (AZN 1000).

Owned by Azerbaijan Industry Bank, the company has been in operation since 1996
