Azerbaijan and Iran sign memorandum of cooperation

Baku. Suleyman Farzaliyev â€“ APA. Azerbaijan and Iran has signed the memorandum of cooperation in the field of customs.

According to APA citing to IRNA, the memorandum was signed by Ardeshir Mohammadi, head of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) and Asger Abdullayev, Vice-Chairman of State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Republic.

Our joint borders with Azerbaijan are defended by two countries. The trade turnover is $500 mln and 11 mln citizens use from customs of two countries, A. Mohammadi said.

Azerbaijan customs is very important for Iranâ€™s access to foreign markets, Asger Abdullayev said.
