Azerbaijan based banks sees rise in total capital

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of March 1,2010, Azerbaijan-based commercial banksâ€™ total capital stood at AZN 1 758.4 million, up 12.2% on a year ago, said National Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to the statistics, the banksâ€™ total capital down by 0.02% or AZN 0.5 million compared with the beginning of 2010.

According to the result of last year, the total bank capital 17.9% increased.
