Personal deposits grew by 30% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of February 1, deposits in Azerbaijan-based banks reached AZN 2.4 bln, up 30% compared with a year ago.
The State Statistical Committee said, AZN 984.9 mln (41.3%) of the deposits were held in the home currency and AZN 1400.9 mln(58.7%) in foreign currencies.
76.9% (AZN 1.8 bln) of the deposits were put in private banks.
