Technikabank posts 12% year-on-year rise in deposit portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of March 1,2010, Azerbaijan-based Technikabank posted its assets at AZN 469.070 million, up 3.35% from a year ago.

The bank said deposit portfolio rose 12.08% to AZN 172.774 million, loan portfolio rose 3.37% to AZN 348.775 million including consumer loans are AZN 38.554 million.

Total equity capital went up 2.37% to AZN 58.305 million and authorized capital stock soared 99.5% to AZN 53.685 million.

Revenue fell 27% year-on-year to AZN 10.435 million and expenditure rose 16.22% to AZN 9.926. Profit stayed at AZN 0.509 million.

The bank established 10 ATMs and 12 POS terminal. The number of staff members increased 4.12% to 607.

Established in 1993, Technikabank operates 35 branches, 57 ATMs and 344 POS terminals across the country.
