A-Group insurance company gets 4% decline in premiums

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s A-Group Insurance Company earned AZN 7.411 million in premiums during 2009, down 4.4% on a year ago.

The company paid AZN 5.102 million for insurance claims, a up by 52.8% year-on-year.

Established by a number of local individuals, A-Group Insurance Company has been in operation since 1995.

The company provides 14 voluntary and 4 compulsory types of insurance services. As of January 1, its authorized capital was AZN 1.550 million.
