Islamic Development Bank declines investment in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The Islamic Development Bankâ€™s fixed capital investments totaled AZN 671 800 in Azerbaijan in January, said the State Statistical Committee.

According to statistics, IDB investments decreased 4.4% year-on-year. IDBâ€™s investment accounted for 0.3% of all fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan by foreign countries and international institutions.

The bank invested more than USD 500 million for 30 projects in Azerbaijan since its membership in 1992.
