Atrabank sees deposit portfolio surged by 54%

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, Azerbaijan-based Atrabank posted its assets at AZN 37.209 million, up 5.76% from a year ago.

The bank said deposit portfolio increased by 53.85% to AZN 6.257 million, loan portfolio rose by 4.67% to AZN 25.582 million while consumer lending went up by 21.56% to AZN 5.514 million.

Total equity capital dropped by 1.42% to AZN 10.901 million and authorized capital stood at AZN 10.425 million.

Revenue decreased by 22.51% to AZN 3.218 million and expenditure fell by 22.37% to AZN 3.200 million. Profit plunged by 42.68% to AZN 17 770.

The bank established 2 branch and 1 ATMs over the past one year.

Besides, the number of staff increased by 38.89% to 175 and average salary decreased by 20.22% to AZN 422.

Established in 1992, Atrabank operates 13 branches, 24 exchange bureaus, 13 ATMs and 40 POS terminals across the country.
