Azerbaijan posts 12% rise in number of ATMs

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. The number of ATMs installed by the banks in Azerbaijan was 1 694, 959 or 56.6% of which were installed in Baku, as of January 1 up 179 or 11.8% from a year ago, said Central Bank.

The number of POS-terminals stood at 8 657, up by 533 or 6.7% year-on-year. 7 871 POS-terminals are in Baku, 786 are in regions.
