Melli Iran Bank Baku branch gets a double rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, Melli Iran Bank Baku Branch posted its assets at AZN 42.644 million, up to 2.2 times from a year ago.

Deposit portfolio fell by 36.5% to AZN 4.122 million while loan portfolio rose by 54.3% to AZN 8.264 million. Consumer lending went up by 13.2% to AZN 4.048 million.

Total equity capital increased by 36.6% to AZN 15.199 million and authorized capital stock rose by 40.1% to AZN 14.017 million.

Revenue grew by 52.9% to AZN 3.979 million and expenditure more than doubled to AZN 3.038 million. Gross profit dropped by 25% year-on-year to AZN 941 000. The number of clients increased by 16% to 8 680, number of staff by 4.35% to 24, and average monthly salary remained unchanged at AZN 900.

Melli Iran Bank Baku Branch has been in operation since 1994.
