Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. The State Customs Committee proposed to raise customs duty for imported alcohol drinks and to limit term of use for imported cars. Chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev said: “I can’t say what classes will be limited in use. Earlier we proposed to limit use of CIS cars to 5 years, and cars imported from far-abroad countries - to 7 years. But it is too long. Some cars don’t meet technical requirements. Generally the cars should meet Euro-2 and Euro-3 standards”.

Aydin Aliyev said it was also proposed to raise customs duty for car import in Azerbaijan.

He also said that customs duty for alcohol drinks would be implemented for their sorts. “The customs duty for alcohol drinks will be implemented for concrete sorts”.
