Azerbaijan State Customs Committee experiences budget deficit for first time in 15 years

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. Azerbaijan customs agencies fulfilled budget incomes with deficit last year, said chairman of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev, APA reports. He said the Committee has fulfilled budget forecasts with deficit about 86% in 2009 for the first time since 1996. The State Customs Committee transferred one billion 112.7 AZN to the state budget last year. Aliyev said trade turnover was reduced more than one billion AZN in 2009. Oil and oil products dominated in the export operations, wheat, oils, auto- and metallic products â€“ in the import operations.
