Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA) hosted the third annual awarding ceremony of member institutions.
Jala Hajiyeva, CEO of AMFA, spoke about the activities and achievements of microfinance entities in the country.

â€œThe majority of microfinance institutions in Azerbaijan have lately strengthened cooperation with foreign financial institutions. As the result of this cooperation the financial resources imported from abroad increasedâ€, she noted.

Mehman Ismayilov, non-bank lending institutions supervision officer of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, talked about the future adoption of the new bill on â€œNon-bank lending institutionsâ€ and future expectations of that document.

J. Hajiyeva awarded AccessBank, Finca Azerbaijan and Dayaq microfinance institution with special diplomas.
Eldar Jafarov, the director of CredAgro, and the representatives of about 50 institutions participated in the ceremony.
Established in 2001, AMFA has 14 members out of 16 microfinance institutions in Azerbaijan.
