Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, Azerbaijan-based AtaBank posted assets at AZN 199.343 million, up 30.4% from a year ago.

Deposit portfolio rose by 33.8% to AZN 166.837 million, loan portfolio 29.1% to AZN 127.388 million, total equity capital by 28.9% to AZN 25.130 million and authorized capital stock remained steady at AZN 15 million, the bank said.

Consumer loans fell 27.6% to AZN 34.144 million.

Revenue for the full year of 2009 increased by 5.4% to AZN 25.755 million and expenditure by 21.5% to AZN 21.742 million.

The bankâ€™s total profit decreased 38.7% to AZN 4.013 million.
Established in 1993, the bank has 18 branches, 50 ATMs 289 POS-terminals and 268 employees.
