EBRD significantly raises fixed investment in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The fixed investments in Azerbaijan by the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) during 2009 was AZN 21 287 500, up 11.3% from a year ago, said the State Statistical Committee.

The EBRD investment accounted for 1.4% of fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan by foreign countries and international organizations.

Azerbaijan joined the EBRD in 1992. Since then, the EBRD has contributed over $1 billion to Azerbaijan.
