AtaLeasing to get 9% rise in leasing portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. As of January 1, Azerbaijan-based leasing company, AtaLeasing, posted a 8.6% rise in its leasing portfolio to AZN 43.8 million.

The company said the leasing portfolio will went 40% to transportation sector, 27% to construction, 10% to trade, 9% to industrial production, 7% to food industry, 5% to services, 1% to road infrastructure and 1% to communications.

The number of leasing contracts increased by 11.8% to 104 while the cost of contracts dropped by two-fold to AZN 1.7 million. Investment in the national economy fell 10.7% to AZN 2.5 million and profit dropped 32.3% to AZN 0.231 million.

AtaLeasing, part of AtaHolding, has been in operation since 2004. As at December 1, its authorized capital is AZN 1 million.
