Texnikabank gets 4% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguliyev â€“ APA-Economics. As at January 1, Azerbaijan-based Texnikabank posted its assets at AZN 467.818 million, up 3.94% from a year ago.

Loan book increased by 4.2% to AZN 351.999 million and deposit portfolio rose by 0.6% to AZN 183.393 million.

Consumer lending declined by 38% to AZN 39.836 million.

Total equity capital grew by 16.2% to AZN 59.927 million and paid-up capital went up by 55% to AZN 41.712 million.

Revenue fell by 11.1% to AZN 65.553 million and expenditure dropped by 6.1% to AZN 52.841 million
The bank achieved a 23.4% drop in profit to AZN 12.712 million for the full year of 2009.

The bank deployed 11 ATMs and 12 POS terminals and increased the number of clients by 23.4% to 116 924 and number of staff members by 6.2% to 613.

Established in 1993, Texnikabank operates 35 branches, 57 ATMs and 30 POS terminals across the country.
