Foreign fixed investments dip by 34% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Foreign fixed capital investment plunged by 33.4%, year-on-year, in Azerbaijan during 2009, said the State Statistical Committee.

The top body said fixed investment in Azerbaijan by foreign investors and international institutions totaled AZN 1 2477.3 million.

Of this, AZN 1 289.4 million or 87.3% was made by British, U.S., Japanese, French, Norwegian, Swiss, Czech and Turkish investors.
