Azerbaijan sees annual inflation at 1.5%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. Prices of consumer goods and services rose 0.8% on month in December, said the State Statistical Committee

Annual inflation or the year-on-year price rise reached 1.5% at the yearend.

Prices of foodstuffs increased by 1.4% on month in December, nonfoods 0.2% while service prices remained unchanged.

On the annual basis, prices of foodstuffs dropped by 1.5%, nonfoods increased 3.4% and services 7.1%.
