Bank Avrasiya posts flagging financials

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, Azerbaijan-based Bank Avrasiya posted its assets at AZN 40.744 million, down 9.8% from a year ago.

The bank said deposit portfolio decreased by 20.6% to AZN 16.558 million, loan portfolio dropped by 26% to AZN 20.028 million and consumer lending plunged by 15.9% to AZN 4.737 million.

Total equity capital dropped by 0.1% to AZN 20.408 million and authorized capital stock stood at AZN 20 million.

Revenue decreased by 14.9% year-on-year to AZN 4.841 million and expenditure fell by 25.4% to AZN 4.179 million. Profit surged by 2.3 times year-on-year to AZN 204 000.

Established in November 2007, Bank Avrasiya operates 1 branch, 2 ATMs, 21 POS terminals across the country.
