Deka Bank gets 19% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. As of January 1, Azerbaijan-based Deka Bank’s assets stood at AZN 32.434 million, up 18.5% from the previous year.

The bank told APA-Economics that loan portfolio increased by 21.1% to AZN 25.701 million, deposit portfolio increased 63.5% to AZN 8.526 million, total equity capital went up by 19.1% to AZN 12.781 million and authorized capital stock stood at AZN 9.594 million.

Consumer lending dropped 1.3% to AZN 8.941 million.

As compared to the same period last year, revenue increased by 46.1% year-on-year to AZN 5.489 million and expenditure fell by 23.1% to AZN 2.644 million.

The bank’s profit for 2009 surged by 9 times to AZN 2.845 million.

The number of staff members decreased by 1.3% to 76 and average monthly salary dropped by 20% to AZN 416.
