BE&G sees drop in insurance proceeds

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan-based BE & G (Benefit & Guaranty) Insurance Company earned AZN 984 399 in premiums, a 2-fold decline from a year ago.
Nigar Bayramova, chief accountant of the company, said payment for insurance claims also declined by 2-fold to AZN 518 169.

In the structure of insurance premiums, AZN 765 363 came from the voluntary insurance and AZN 219 035 from compulsory insurance.

Owned by two individuals, BE&G was established in 1998 under the name of Nakhchivan Insurance Company and renamed in 2001.
The company provides 23 voluntary and 4 compulsory types of insurance services.
