Switzerland-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission to meet in Bern

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. The Switzerland-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation is scheduled to gather for its 4th meeting In Bern on January 18, said Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Economic Development.

Azerbaijan Minister of Economic Development o Shahin Mustafayev, who is co-chair of the commission, will lead a delegation of representatives of ministries of foreign affairs, finance, taxation, justice, health, culture and tourism, the Central Bank, Azersu state water utility, Irrigation and Water Management Company to attend the meeting.

The meeting will focus on the activities implemented to towards the expansion of relations between the two countries and the cooperation in development of different spheres of the economy in the coming period.

The meeting will conclude with a protocol.
During the visit, Azerbaijani delegation is expected to hold several bilateral meetings.

The Swiss co-chair of the commission is Monika RÃ¼hl Burzi, board member at SECO.
