Azer-Turk Bank gets 26% year-on-year rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As at January 1, Azer-Turk Bank’s assets stood at AZN 57.281 million, up 25.8% from a year ago.

On year-on-year basis, the loan portfolio rose by 12.7% to AZN 29.254 million (including consumer loans rising 21.6% to AZN 10.494 million), deposit portfolio increased by 15.4% to AZN 35.488 million (including household deposits rising 20.9% to AZN 13.754 million), total capital dropped by 2.3% to AZN 12.048 million and authorized capital stock stood at AZN 10 million.

For the full year of 2009, revenue grew by 2.4% to AZN 7.562 million and expenditure increased by 26% to AZN 5.727 million. The bank’s profit fell 35.4% year-on-year to AZN 1.835 million.

Azer-Turk Bank established 1 branch, 1 ATM and 13 POS terminals over the past year.

The bank operates 3 branches, 4 ATMs and 21 POS terminals across the country. The bank employs 105 people.

In 1995 AzerTurkBank was established by Turkish T.C.Ziraat Bankasi A.S. (46%), German Ziraat Bank International AG (4%), Azeri Agrarcredit (46%) and Turanbank (4%).
