AGLeasing gets 21.3% year-on-year rise in leasing portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-ECONOMICS. As of January 1, Azerbaijan-based AGLeasing posted its leasing portfolio at $9.857 million, up 21.3% from a year ago.
The company’s business director Ulviyye Huseynova said the cost of leased equipment increased by 0.8% year-on-year to AZN 10.160 million, and the number of leasing contracts rose by 1.5% to 133.
The portfolio mainly went to construction, public transportation and production industry.
AGLeasing is owned by AGBank (35%), UK Hyperion Investments Ltd. (30%), Millio Leasing Ltd. (10%) and US Delta Trans Group LLC (25%). The company has been in operation since 2005. Its fixed capital is AZN 1 million.
