Azerbaijan posts a rise in ATM tally

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of December 1, the number of commercial banksâ€™ ATMs in Azerbaijan has reached 1 673, up 173 units from a year ago, said the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Of this, 943 were deployed in Baku and the rest in provinces.
The number of ATMs in regions has increased as part of the development of pension benefit delivery system in the country.

As of December 1, the number of POS terminals deployed across the country was 8 613, up 606 units from a year ago.

Of this, 7 827 were in Baku.
