Azerbaijan signed agreements with three countries on avoidance of double taxation last year

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan signed agreements with three countries - Iran, Kuwait and Greece - on avoidance of double taxation in 2009, said the Ministry of Taxes.

Besides, two more previously signed agreements (Netherlands and Luxembourg) on avoidance of double taxation entered into force last year.

The Government of Azerbaijan has to date signed agreements with 39 countries on avoidance of double taxation, of which 33 are already in force (with the exception of agreement with Pakistan, Italy, Jordan, Iran, Kuwait, Greece).
