23-storey Azerbaijan State Oil Fund buildingâ€™s construction started

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the ceremony and looked at the buildingâ€™s project and model, APA reports.

A number of offices, Heydar Aliyev museum, 200-seat conference hall, 150-car two-storey parking place will be constructed in the 23-storey building of 117 meters height (140 m with lighthouse) and 13 000 square meters of square (27 000 square meters with the underground parking area). There will be seven elevators, double-faced system of voice-protection and thermal isolation.

The project also contains plans of greenery, installation of solar batteries for alternative energy source, solar invertors and other technologies. It will meet Green Building requirements and will be based on the concept of integrated building supplied with the intellectual technological infrastructure, communication and communal networks with centralized control system.

The project was elaborated by the France-based Inter Art Etudes on the recommendations of US-based AECOM.

President Aliyev laid the foundation of the building and congratulated the State Oil Fundâ€™s staff members and wished them successes in their activity.
