IFC: Non-oil exports per capita at low in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. In terms of non-oil exports per capita, Azerbaijanâ€™s economy can not be viewed as sustainable, said Boris Divyak, the IFC Project Manager for Azerbaijan Business Enabling Environment Project.

According to him, as a whole, exports (including oil exports) per capita can be considered as at a good level.

â€œHowever, non-oil export per capita is only $124. It is a low level. SOCAR should channel petrodollars to the non-oil sector. The Government of Azerbaijan is working towards this target,â€ he added.
