Amrahbank opens a new branch in Baku

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. Amrahbank has opened another branch in Baku, bringing the number of its branches to 25.

The branch will offer the bankâ€™s full range of services to clients.

Emil Mammadov, Chairman of Amrahbank, said at the opening ceremony that launching a new branch is part of the bankâ€™s strategy to expand its branch network.

He noted that attracting a new investor, purchasing new software, enhancing staff development, cooperating with international financial institutions have led to a new stage in the development of the bank. The measures are aimed at improving performance indicators such as speed and quality of bank services.

Amrahbank is one of the oldest (est. 1993) and leading commercial banks of Azerbaijan. It offers a wide range of retail and corporate banking products such as deposits, loans, money transfers, documentary transactions and investment advisory services. The Bank is a member of various professional organisations such as the Deposit Insurance Fund, Mortgage Fund, National Entrepreneurship Fund and Azerbaijan Banks Association. The strategic partnership with the International Investment Bank based in Bahrain (through a 49% shareholding), has played a key role in further developing many areas of Amrahbank including corporate governance, international cooperation and product and services quality.
