AzeriCard to extend mobile-banking coverage

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-ECONOMICS. AzeriCard processing center intends to expand mobile-banking service coverage in the near future by involving Azerfon and Bakcell, in addition to Azercell Telekom.

Jahangir Mammadovm, Business Development Officer of AzeriCard, said ATMs and Internet will be used to facilitate access to the system.

â€To subscribe to the service, you just need to insert the card into the ATM and double-dial the mobile phone number,â€ he added.

This service will allow cardholders manage their accounts and perform the following operations online:

â€¢ Checking account balance;
â€¢ Getting a report on the operations - the last ten operations;
â€¢ Payment of electricity bills;
â€¢ paying mobile phone bills (Azercell);
â€¢ receive an SMS-notification of each transaction.
