Azerbaijan sees bank assets above AZN 11 billion

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of November 1, Azerbaijan-based commercial banksâ€™ assets reached AZN 11 020.45 million, up 7.3% or AZN 746.99 million from early this year, said Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to statistics, assets increased by AZN 2 205.49 million after declining by AZN 1 458.5 million during the first quarter.

Loans to customers accounted for 68.33%, correspondent accounts 6.11%, investment 7.21%, cash funds 3.95%, deposits and loans to the financial sector 4.96%, and other assets 9.44% of the total bank assets.

Bank obligations accounted for 81.97% of AZN 9 033.16 million liabilities.

Deposits made up AZN 4 064.29 million of the obligations, leaving AZN 4 150.01 million to loans and deposits from the financial sector and AZN 818.87 million to other obligations.

The banksâ€™ total capital grew by 16.6% dui8rng January-October to AZN 1 987.29 million.
