Azerbaijan will be able to nominate its representative for BSTDB governing executive bodies

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) will be headed by the representative of Russia’s government and vice-president of the bank Andrei Kondakov from next year.

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Finance said the decision was taken at an extraordinary meeting of the Bank’s Board of Directors in Thessaloniki (Greece) on November 21-22.

At the same time, it was decided to entitle Turkey, which presided over the bank since its inception, to nominate another candidate for the presidency for 2014-2018.

Along with this, the meeting also decided to provide Azerbaijan with the right to nominating its representative for the senior executive bodies of the BSTDB.

Azerbaijan was represented by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov at the meeting of the BSTDB Board of Directors.
