IDB slashes investment in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The amount fixed investment by the Islamic Development Bank in Azerbaijan during January-October totaled AZN 2 996.3, down nearly threefold on the same period last year.

The State Statistical Committee said the IDB investments accounted for 0.3% of total foreign fixed investment in Azerbaijan during this period.

Azerbaijan joined the IDB in 1992. The IDB commitments to the country were over $450 million for some 30 projects.
