International Finance Corporation holds workshop on "Risk Management: the Boardâ€™s Response to the Crisisâ€ in Baku

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. International Finance Corporation, in parthership with the Azerbaijan Bank Training Center, has today held a workshop in Baku, on the topic of "Risk Management: the Board’s Response to the Crisis."

The interactive workshop was held with the purpose of assisting chairmen of supervisory boards and management boards of banks in addressing the effects of the crisis.

Christoph Nedopil, the International Institute for Management Development, spoke about the types and sources of the crisis, methods of detecting them at an early stage, the possible impacts of the crisis on developing countries.

The seminar was attended by about 40 members of the boards of banking and insurance organizations.
