Azerbaijan posts $4 billion foreign trade surplus

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign trade turnover with 126 nations during January-July totaled $10.4 billion, including exports of $7.2 billion (68.8%) and imports of $3.2 billion (31.2%), said the State Statistical Committee.

The trade surplus was $4 billion.

The country did 52.4% of the trade with Europe, 32.8% with Asia, 13.6% with Americas, 1.1% with Africa and 0.1% with Oceania.

The countryâ€™s main trade partners in imports and exports (81.7%) included Italy, the United States, Russia, France, Israel, Turkey, Germany, Indonesia, Canada, United Kingdom, Taiwan, Georgia, China, India, and Malaysia.
