AtaSigorta Insurance Company posts AZN 570 000 in profit

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based insurance company, AtaSigorta, earned AZN 2.38 million in insurance proceeds and paid AZN 0.45 million in insurance claims during January-August.

The company said total revenue reached AZN 3.59 million and expenditure AZN 3.13 million. The companyâ€™s gross profit made AZN 0.57 million, surpassing the forecast by 11.6%.

AtaSigorta, part of AtaHolding Group, has been in operation since 2004.

As of September 1, its paid-up capital stood at AZN 2 million. It provides 31 voluntary and 4 compulsory types of insurance services.
