“If elections are a condition for ending the war, then let’s do it,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with BBC, APA reports.
Addressing Ukraine’s partners, Zelensky said they constantly raise the issue of elections.
“To be honest, you (our partners) keep bringing up the issue of elections, but you yourselves must decide: do you want to get rid of me, or do you want elections? If you want elections, then let’s organize them properly. Let’s hold elections in a way that first the Ukrainian people recognize them. And you must also acknowledge that these are legitimate elections,” Zelensky warned.
