Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Council of Europe Secretary General Marija Pejcinovic Buric in Kyiv on Monday, marking her second visit to the war-torn country's capital since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"During the meeting, we discussed in detail the work on the international legal front to bring Russia to justice for the crime of aggression against Ukraine, all war crimes and crimes against humanity," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram Channel.
Previously, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, over the allegedly committed "war crimes" in Ukraine. Following the announcement, Moscow stated that the Russian president is exempt from foreign criminal jurisdiction.
