President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president’s press service reported on Wednesday evening, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
“During the conversation, the parties discussed preparations for holding a regular meeting of the High-Level Strategic Council in Kyiv co-chaired by the Presidents of Ukraine and Turkey,” reads the report.
The presidents stated about a common commitment to further enhance cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
Also, they noted that the negotiation process on preparations for the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Turkey should be intensified.
